What should you do on the 4th of July? Brooke and Kyle knew that it was the perfect day to celebrate their wedding with their guests. They picked Calamigos Ranch Equestrian Center for their venue. Calamigos is one of our most favorite venues and features the most beautiful, picturesque ceremony locations in California.

Have you ever thought that seeing each other on a wedding day before the ceremony will impact the moment? Think again. We had the opportunity to transport Kyle from his hotel to the ceremony site before the wedding, and during the trip, he said that Brooke and he almost didn’t do the first look. We never push a couple to do the first look, as Jennifer and I didn’t, however, we both agree now, from much experience, that the moments you get during the first look are priceless, like a Mastercard commercial, but even more priceless.

We had the opportunity to again work with Tricia Dahlgren, who is the model of wedding planners. She and her team manage over 90 weddings per year, more than any other wedding planner I have ever met, by double. I have never met a more organized wedding planner.
