Well I am excited. The reason? I got my iPhone back!
Last June I had 2 iphones on order for myself and my girlfriend Jen, but I got tired of waiting for them, and decided to purchase an Android phone that had been garnering great reviews at the time. Well over time I had really began to miss my iPhone. The ease of use and compatibility with other Apple products is second to none. Also, Apple is very photographer friendly!
So after getting our iPhones home last night, I decided to hit the app store (Apple makes sure it is easy to spend money) and I got a couple of camera apps that I thought were really cool. I would like to share some of them with you. Today I am going to talk about Camera+ by taptaptap
This has got to be the ultimate iPhone camera app. I picked it up for $1.99 from the app store, and it goes a long way. This is a screen shot from the main user-interface.
As you can see the main screen allows you to use a grid to better figure out your composition. Another great feature that this app has is an image stabalizer! What this does is reduce the amount of blur you get while taking pictures of subjects that are slightly moving. This especially helps in the dark. It also has a time for self-portraits.
When you get into the editing portion of the app. It gives you features such as vibrance and black level adjustments, filter FX, cropping, flash exposure adjustment and borders. For some who do not know what I am talking about, just take my word that it is easy to figure out when you get it in hand. See their website by clicking above for image examples.
Next week I am going to review Photoshop express by adobe.
