So on Sunday Jen and I took off with the awesome Aygul Ovesliyeva to a park in Western Santa Clarita. This place is an old ghost town that was the cornerstone of oil exploration in Los Angeles back in the late 1800’s. Aygul was born and raised in Turkmenistan and recently came here to the US to get her education. Not only is she beautiful, she is smart too! She knows over 4 languages, and is currently working on Spanish. Aygul wants to get into modeling, so she asked us to help her build her portfolio. If you ask me, I would say she had done it before. She was willing to try any thing to get a good shot! She asked us if she could climb a tree and get some pictures of her in it. Thinking she was kidding, Jen said “sure, go ahead!” Next thing you know I turn around and she kicked off her high heels and was 15 feet in the air. Due to the nature of the shoot, we tried some new stuff on the editing end. Let us know what you think!
Aygul was a senior in high school last year. This portrait shoot was one of our favorite so far.
The bees were buzzing in this nearby shed!
