Steven and Delaney were such a delight to work with. Their love story is so unique. Delaney and Steve had a mutual friend who tried setting them up with one another. Surprisingly, around the same time, they also matched online. They decided to go on a first date that lasted 5 hours. They may not have known it then, but that was their last first date ever!
Steven and Delaney have had many great adventures together; including jumping off a bar in Fiji, drinking champagne on the rocks of Carmel, adopting sweet pups (giving them so much love), a surprise party, and so much more fun!
They wanted a minimalist, classic wedding day with a touch of elegance. Delaney and Steve accomplished this perfectly! Their La Playa Hotel wedding in Carmel was the absolute best for them.

Courtyard
The Courtyard is a beautiful garden setting. It can hold your ceremony and/or reception.
La Playa Patio
The outdoor Patio is ideal for more intimate weddings. You will be surrounded by gardens and spectacular greenery.
Pacific Room and Terrace
If you are envisioning an ocean view and intricate architecture, the Pacific Room and Terrace would make a great spot for your wedding.
Garden Room
This room is perfect if you want the garden view AND ocean view!
Fireside Room
A smaller, intimate wedding would be beautiful in the Fireside Room.
Steve and Delaney’s Wedding Vendors
Steve and Delaney had amazing vendors that we all loved working with.
We were honored to work as their Destination Wedding Photographers.
Delaney’s wedding gown was from Galia Lahav and was so beautiful.
Their wedding band was Hella Fitzgerald. They played songs from 90s pop to vintage jazz, and everything in between.
Cassia Foret was their talented florist that put together such amazing flowers.
Delaney’s elegant hair and makeup were done by Kelly Jo Beauty.
Their La Playa Hotel wedding was coordinated perfectly by Eileen Lacey Murphy at E Events Co. Delaney herself planned & designed the entire event.
Our couple’s day would not have been possible without La Playa Hotel in Carmel. The wedding ceremony and reception both took place at the hotel. The hotel also took care of the catering.
