The Wedding Venue
Erika and Eva got married at Manhattan Country Club in Orange County, California. These two beautiful brides looked stunning all day long. The wedding took place in the evening and allowed for some superb photo opportunities.
We met online which ended up being a long story, but a fantastic ending. We met in 2014, and had our first date at C&O’s in Venice…Eva ended the date with me by having a homeless man serenade me (and that wouldn’t be the last time.) We have been inseparable since that time. We travel a LOT and love having fun. Our relationship long hashtag is #esquaredadventues (on IG).
How did he propose?
Eva proposed while we were visiting her family in Puerto Rico, Sept 2017. This trip to PR, she invited a couple of our closest friends/family to join who go trips with us from time to time–so I didn’t think anything of it. On our last night we stayed in San Juan, and when the waiter brought dessert out, it had something written in Spanish. I don’t speak Spanish, so I told her its not my birthday and started growing frustrated because I didn’t understand what was going on. Finally, Eva sitting to my right says “It says will you marry me…” and I turn and she has the ring in her hand. I said, “of course!”
What is your favorite memory together aside from the proposal?
We have been fortunate to be able to travel the world together on a very regular basis. Those trips have created such unforgettable memories and made this question very hard to answer. But, I think we fell in love with Costa Rica as much as we do each other. Thinking of one single memory would probably be when we did the grape crush in Santa Barbara together.
