Some love stories are too great to not be shared. Donald and Soraya, a beautiful California couple, have just that kind of story. We were excited and honored when they asked us to capture the magic of their storybook romance on their special day. They said their sacred vows in the breathtaking, historic Padua Hills Theatre in Claremont, California.
The Story
Donald and Soraya met through a mutual friend. Though their initial meeting was brief, they instantly knew that they had stumbled upon a special connection. Their 6-year love story came full circle on the day of their engagement when Donald surprised Soraya by proposing at their couple’s photography session in Mt. Soledad, the very spot where they went on their first date. He even went as far as to invite her parents and sister to join them in celebrating the beginning of this new chapter in their lives.

The Ballroom
Donald and Soraya said “I do” in the stunning Theatre Ballroom. The elegant details were the highlight of the wedding and created an enchanted backdrop for all of their gorgeous photographs. Wrought iron chandeliers hung from a vaulted ceiling, and gentle lights reflected in the hand-carved mirrors adorning the walls.
