I have been waiting to share this album with you for some time. We photographed Melissa and Gary’s wedding 2 days after we got back from Italy earlier this summer. Our schedule got a bit crazy, so I didn’t have time to get this wedding posted to our blog. There is always something about beach venues that makes us smile. There are so many possibilities for beautiful photography, but when you combine that a beautiful venue like the Santa Monica Fairmont Miramar Bungalows, you are given the opportunity to make magic happen.
After photographing this wedding ceremony, we were able to get down to the Santa Monica Beach to take some portraits. The beach just north of the pier allows for beautiful photography without the crowds.
Melissa and Gary have a great story. They had a long distance relationship. Gary, who is a visual effects engineer, working on movies such as Avatar and Gravity, lived in the United Kingdom, while Melissa lived here in Los Angeles. After the wedding, they finally moved in with each other and are now living happily together in New York.
There were so many amazing people at this wedding, and we had an absolute blast photographing these two. We cannot wait to see them again.
