A Beautiful Reception at Taglyan Cultural Complex

Taglyan Complex’s wedding venue, draped in the majesty of elegance, is one-of-a-kind. Celebrities, entertainers, and politicians alike have graced its European-style interior. This opulent decor paired with its fantastic reputation makes it a hotspot for weddings and receptions.

Mary Sargious and Fady Hanna’s Story

Though their first meeting is different depending on who is asked, what is undeniable is the love that lies between them. It was a spark that began their simple friendship, soon growing into a romantic love story seven years in the making. Both are as passionate about animated films, theme parks, golf tournaments, and concerts as they are about each other. Their interests greatly intertwined will soon weave a life together that will span decades.

December 26, 2017 marks the day Fady proposed to Mary at the location of their first date. Despite a disastrous series of events nearly foiling his romantic plans, Fady stuck it out and finally asked for Mary’s hand in marriage at the Pelican Hill Resort. She replied with an, “Of course,” as if he needn’t have asked at all.

A Lovely Wedding and Reception

Their beautiful wedding was held at the Holy Virgin Mary and St. Pishoy Coptic Orthodox Church in Los Angeles. Their life together began within the walls of their shared faith, surrounded by friends and family.

After we photographed Fady and Mary’s getting ready photos, we headed to Pasadena City Hall with the bridal party. Pasadena City Hall is a very beautiful location for wedding photos or even engagement pictures.

The reception was held at Taglyan Complex, a venue regularly traipsed through by the elite. Planned for a year in advance, Taglyan Complex offers a variety of services including catering and coordination. The Sargious and Hanna couple enjoyed fine dining with the professional addition of award-winning disc jockey, Hey Mister DJ.

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Event

The wedding couple employed the services of various vendors to ensure their day was unique and enfolded just right.

The florist who decorated their special event expertly and creatively was Jun’Aire Blooms, an established industry leader headed by O’Mara Allen and a team of dedicated professionals.

Mary Sargious’ beautiful gown was sold by the all-service retailer Karoza Bridal. Their extensive collection of one-of-a-kind dresses and associated accessories has exceptionally graced weddings since 1992.

Her makeup artist and hair stylist was Mary Stepanyan. As a Los Angeles-based, licensed cosmetologist, she brings out the true beauty hidden beneath the surface of her clients’ faces. Her Instagram handle is @marysbeautyworld.
