Bailey and Erich got married at The Chateau at Lake La Quinta on Saturday. The event was beautiful and the weather could not have been better. Right after sunset, we drove them to the desert area near their venue for portraits. I loved the way this wedding turned out.
We met at work. Erich is a iOS developer, At the time, I was the office manager/executive assistant. The company was a start up and I was having to work with Erich a lot ordering new technology and setting up meetings. We were in a meeting testing a new video conference tool and Erich asked to use my number to call and test it. Later that day he had texted me asking to go to lunch. Before I knew it he was following me into the kitchen every time and following me all over. The rest is history…
One random Friday he asked if I wanted to go to the hotel Erwin rooftop lounge in Venice beach. (Which is impossible to get a reservation at) I of course said yes but was wondering how he managed to get a reservation on such short notice. We get there and someone managed to also have the best seat there with an incredible view of the sunset. After a couple drinks and dinner he said we had to stop by his boss’ house on the beach for his Christmas party. But first let’s walk on the beach. We get to the beach and I see something out by the water completely lit up. As he assumed I would, I asked to go walk and see it.. Because I’m a Christmas freak. So I go to try and take off my boots before walking in the sand and he insist we get over there and starts basically dragging me through the sand. I’m telling him my shoes are going to get ruined and he says “let’s just go! Well buy you new ones!” Of course I never say no to new shoes so I started walking. The closer we get I realize it’s the lifeguard tower completely lit up in Christmas lights. Once we get up to it and he takes me in front and gets down on a knee. I kind of blacked out once I realized what was happening and next thing I know I have a ring on my finger and our friend is jumping out from behind the dumpster taking pictures and yelling and clapping!
Getting to be 2 of 12 people Ice skating at Rockefeller center at Christmas time in NYC. (My brother knew the people that had closed down Rockefeller center for a private event) again.. I’m a Christmas freak so I about died and went to heaven
