Often wedding details are photographed stagnant, lying on a chair somewhere. I've always found wedding details to look better when they are actually on the bride. In this particular instance, the bride was wearing such a unique gallon that we had to take a second to photograph it. The neckline was unlike anything we had ever seen before.
We took a close-up shot so that the image would not be distracting. This allowed us to focus directly on the bride. The bride was lit with a more dramatic, directional light. As wedding photographers, we have to find ways to tell stories creatively for our clients.
