Waimea Canyon is known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. For good reason as well, it is one of the most magnificent sites we have ever witnessed. Ashley, a childhood friend of mine Married Marco in the backyard of their house which overlooks the Pacific Ocean right on the coast Princeville Hawaii. ..The day after the wedding we headed to Waimean Canyon where Ashlely showed us some of the most picturesque places that we have had the opportunity to photograph at...For this image I stood across the canyon and ask a couple to walk toward me. I instructed actually to wave her dress back and forth as she walked in order to capture the wind that was pushing toward her from the canyon...We then asked them to look out toward the waterfall in order to capture a stoic expression on their face...Approximately one year after their wedding, Ashley attended out first photography Workshop back in 2016 in Baltimore Maryland. Today she is actually a very talented wedding photographer in her own right, and photographs many couples in her home state of Nevada...As A destination wedding photographer on Kauai, we are always looking for new places to capture photos of our beautiful couples.
