Photographing a proposal is not easy because you are rarely in control of the elements. When we photograph proposals, we do a site visit with the groom to make sure that we are leading the bride right to the perfect place. For this image, I wanted to make sure that Sheryl's reaction to the propsal was perfectly lit, but then we had a visitor who happened to enjoy the proposal as well and share in their moment.
