I have to start this blog by saying that this will be a long one. Lubna and Waqas are from Dallas, and they hired us to photograph their Southasian Indian wedding in Lake Louise, Canada. I had seen photos of Lake Louise online many times, but the true beauty of Alberta was not realized by us until about 20 minutes after we arrived at Calgary airport. As Destination Wedding Photographers in Los Angeles, we are used to photographing in tropical climates such as Hawaii or Mexico. And even though we have seen some of the most beautiful places in the world, like Iceland, we were not prepared for the awe and beauty we found here. Where the mountains meet the turquoise water of Lake Louise, Lubna and Waqas exchanged vows in a ceremony that we will never forget.
This was a three day wedding, and the details that we captured were stunning. From elegant Mehndi designs, to a beautiful reception designed by Lynn Fletcher Weddings, these were three days that we will never forget.
Lubna and Waqas are two of the nicest people we have ever met. They welcomed us into their amazing family for three days, which allowed us to capture the emotion of their story. From the first day of this wedding at the Canmore Opera House, to the last day of the reception at the top of the mountain, this was one of our favorite weddings to date.
