Studio Dress Code
To help our clients have the most successful photoshoot, we have created this suggestive dress code.
A portrait is more than just a photograph—it’s a statement piece, a timeless heirloom that will be cherished for generations. Every detail in our studio, from the lighting to the backdrop, is carefully designed to create a work of art. Your wardrobe plays a crucial role in ensuring that your portrait reflects the sophistication and elegance that define our signature style.
We strongly recommend dressing in formal, classic attire to achieve the best results. This is not just a photo; it’s an investment in artistry, and your clothing should complement that vision.
The Art of Dressing for Portraits
Our approach to lighting and composition ensures that the focus remains on expression, emotion, and connection. To enhance this, we recommend:
✔ Rich, dark, or jewel-toned clothing – Black, navy, deep burgundy, and emerald green create a striking contrast against our signature backgrounds.
✔ Timeless styles – Elegant, well-fitted clothing that won’t feel outdated in a decade.
✔ Simple, refined details – Classic jewelry, clean lines, and minimal patterns to keep the focus on your face.

Casual ATTIRE
We don't recommend casual attire, but if you must wear casual clothing to your session, here are some tips.
Keep in mind that simplicity is key. Your clothing should still align with your portrait's refined, artistic nature.
- Stick to dark, solid colors with no distracting patterns
- Avoid anything overly trendy that may look outdated over time
- Choose styles that feel classic and polished, even in a more casual setting
What to Avoid
To maintain the integrity and timeless quality of your portrait, we kindly ask that you avoid:
Jeans or casual wear – Even in a relaxed session, polished attire ensures the best result.
Bright colors or white – These draw attention away from the subject.
Loud patterns (stripes, florals, plaids, logos, etc.) – Simplicity keeps the focus on you.
Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in rescheduling or adjusting your session. We aim to create an image that reflects your best, most timeless self.
A Portrait That Lasts a Lifetime
Your wardrobe choices directly impact the elegance and emotion captured in your portrait. Thoughtful selection ensures that your image remains a cherished, timeless piece that looks just as stunning today as it will decades from now.
